Beijing National Sports Stadium
On Oct. 22nd, 2014, a world premiere of Subaru Outlook was held in the National Sports Stadium. Combined with Chinese traditional culture and the car type -- cross country vehicle, the premiere was themed with “Traveling Thinker”. Unlike any other premiere of its brand, the premiere was mainly presented with a 4D video backstage show, displaying to the hundreds of media and other audience the stunning evolution of Outback New car.
In order to meet the best premiere effect, SOES was involved in the devising phase of the whole show, giving professional and innovative advice on what would most resonate the theme of the premiere. What’s worth mentioning is that since the director team was from Taiwan, who were known to be very keen on details, we had to comply every detail and standard given. It made an experience for us in which we were to display and at the same time enhance our professionalism and efficiency.
In aspect of the techniques, many were worth mentioning, for example, the 3D video show which were controlled by 18 BARCO processors. The 3D video made audience feel almost real that they were standing in the scenes displayed. We had invited a Korean tech team to support the 4D effect, which would accompany the climax of the premiere -- showing moment of the Outback. In the 4D, waterfall, flower-fall, snow, were displayed. Accompanied with the design of the stage, audience were given an illusion that they went through the four season in just one night.
As the year’s representative project, the premiere witnessed the highest video tech of the AVL industry. We were proud that our effort were recognized by both the audience and the Outback team. It was also to our joy that the National Sport Stadium were impressed by the avl performance and hence offered us chances to take part in other projects held in the stadium.
